We are extremely proud to announce that we have exclusive permission to host the demo version of Yuan Works' Wind and Water: Puzzle Battles. Wind and Water is an independent commercial release distributed by RedSpotGames, it's an Arcade-Type puzzler which really is "not just your typical puzzle game!". The Beta and Preview Demo versions of Inhabitants by S+F Software has been added to the archive, both versions of the game are coupled together by the Sandmenu for another unique CD Image, the CD also contains some rare PC extras - the project page can be found here.

The only two releases of Digimine by Dreamcast Moe Project has been added to the archive, both versions of the game are coupled together by the Sandmenu for a unique CD Image, the project page can be found here.

Here is another addition to the DC Evolution CD Image archive, the original CD of the demo and a video is available from the Demoscene project page. Raytracement Killers was released at the Breakpoint 2005 competition, it reached third place in the Console/Real Wild category.

VC/DC 0.2 was recently released by OneThirty8, and we are proud to announce that the application has been added to the DC Evolution archive of CD Images. To keep in line with our new approach to Dreamcast Homebrew, the application is available as both boot disk and sampler disk, the sampler contains another CC licensed movie: Elephants Dream.

The animated short along with it's complete soundtrack and the VC/DC application are available as a CD Image download from the VC/DC project page.

This evening, a story about the Dreamcast made the headlines on Yahoo!'s Playback. Apparently, the economic downturn throughout the world is sparking a comeback from the DC, despite the fact that Sega stopped manufacturing the system eight years ago.

Being sold brand new by some online retailers for $99, it's possible the DC will get a chance to battle the Sony Playstation 2 one more time.

Hopefully the potential resurgence in the DC's popularity will bring new users to the homebrew community.

An archive of the original ScummVM CD Images has been added to the site, also serving as a mirror to the sourceforge downloads, the archive contains the official ScummVM releases in Nero format created by Marcus Comstedt.

GhettoplayVorbis has been added to the Dreamcast CD archive, we originally featured this homebrew OGG Vorbis player on the Dream Selection Volume 1 CD back in 2002, now it is available as a sampler disk and an additional boot disk. To accompany the application the sampler disk features music from the excellent post-rock band Explosions In The Sky.
